Bio
Brian is a hydrologist and civil engineer for JE Fuller/Hydrology & Geomorphology, Inc. He has served as a project engineer and hydrologist for studies and projects in Arizona, Nevada, New Mexico, Utah and California Since 1986. His experience includes the following:
• Flood Warning Systems Design, Installation, Operation and Maintenance
• Dam Inundation PMP/PMF Determination/Dam Safety Monitoring
• Hydrology and Hydraulics
• Flood Insurance Studies (FEMA LOMRs/CLOMRs/LOMAs/CLOMRFs)
• Sediment Transport
• Drainage Design
Brian has extensive experience using hydrologic/hydraulic modeling software including HEC-1, HEC-2/HEC-RAS, and HY-8, but he only learned the software so he could keep his projects on schedule, otherwise, he’s kind of old school, preferring pencils and large erasures. Even though Brian has enjoyed using AutoCAD and ArcGIS for close to 20 years, he still appreciates the usefulness of paper maps too.
Other software expertise includes various data collection software associated with ALERT systems, including DataWise and Marta Systems Yosemite Cloud.
