Bio

Brian has served as Project Engineer and/or Manager for flood hazard mitigation projects in Arizona, California, Nevada, Utah and Alaska. General project experience includes hydrologic and hydraulic modeling of natural and developed watersheds, FEMA flood hazard delineations, strategic prioritization of drainage projects and watercourse master planning, design of flood control facilities and structures, roadway drainage, levee certification, stream scour and lateral migration assessment, stream restoration, and 401/404 permitting.

Beyond his formal education, Brian has earned credentials as a Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM) through the Association of State Floodplain Managers (ASFPM). Besides ASFPM, Brian is affiliated with the Arizona Floodplain Management Association (AFMA) and the Arizona Association of County Engineers (AACE).

During time spent away from work, Brian enjoys his family, sports and motorcycling.
