Bio
Dwight has more than 17 years experience in emergency management and has developed Multi-Jurisdictional Hazard Mitigation Plans for Counties and several Multi-Hazard Mitigation Plans for single Communities and Tribes. Utilizing GIS software, he has prepared vulnerability assessments for the State of Arizona All-Hazard Mitigation Plan for all hazards impacting the State. He has prepared and updated Emergency Operations Plans (Basic Plan and Annexes). His past experience includes working in emergency operations centers for disaster response in Texas and Utah at State and County levels. He has developed and coordinated full-scale exercises with State, County and volunteer organizations. He has provided training to emergency management personnel involved in hazard analysis, threat and risk assessment in hazmat releases – including CSEPP events. Participated and coordinated the development and automation of Multi-Agency Coordination Systems through automation.
Dwight enjoys spending time fishing and camping with his wife and three sons.
