<strong>News Item:</strong> JE Fuller completes installation of new valve at Lynx Lake for AZ Game &amp; Fish<br />
<strong>Description:</strong> A team from JE Fuller, led by <a title="Jeffrey A. Despain" href="http://www.jefuller.com/jeffrey-a-despain/" target="_blank">Jeff Despain</a>, has completed the replacement of the principal outlet valve at <a title="Lynx Lake" href="http://maps.google.com/maps?q=lynx+lake,+prescott,+az&amp;oe=utf-8&amp;client=firefox-a&amp;channel=fflb&amp;hnear=Lynx+Lake&amp;t=m&amp;z=16" target="_blank">Lynx Lake</a> near Prescott AZ for the <a title="Arizona Game and Fish Dept" href="http://www.azgfd.gov/" target="_blank">Game and Fish Department</a>. Working with professional divers, the Fuller team oversaw the removal of the derelict gate valve, which had been in-place in 1974. The new hydraulically operated valve was then installed and brought online in December of 2012.</p>

<strong>Description:</strong> The 2013 <a href="http://azfma.org/" target="_blank">Arizona Floodplain Management Association</a> spring conference was held on May 1-3 in <a href="http://www.sedonaaz.gov/Sedonacms/index.aspx" target="_blank">Sedona</a>.  JE Fuller staff assisted with several of the conference technical workshops in addition to giving presentations.  Below is the list of participants and their contributions to the conference:</p>

<strong>Description:</strong><a title="Brian Schalk" href="http://www.jefuller.com/brian-schalk/" target="_blank"> Brian Schalk, PE</a>, CFM and <a title="Rob Lyons" href="http://www.jefuller.com/rob-lyons/" target="_blank">Rob Lyons, PE, CFM</a> have been accepted and have committed to participate in the 2013 Leadership in Engineering Administration Program (LEAP) along with 18 other engineering candidates in Arizona.  LEAP is a career development program designed for upwardly mobile young professionals working in Arizona’s consulting engineering industry.  The <a href="http://acecaz.org/" target="_blank">American Council of Engineering Companies of Arizona</a> (ACEC AZ) offers the program to support the local engineering community to help develop successful business leaders who consistently please clients and create value in engineering firms.</p>

				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>Date:</strong> October, 2012<br/><strong>News Item:</strong> Nogales Sonora <a href="http://www.jefuller.com/lexicon/alert-2/" target="" class="encyclopedia">ALERT</a> System Design/Build/Integration<br/><strong>Description:</strong>  In October, 2012, the JE Fuller <a href="http://www.jefuller.com/lexicon/alert-2/" target="" class="encyclopedia">ALERT</a> Systems Group presented the initial training in Nogales, Sonora on the newly installed and operational Nogales, Sonora Flood Warning System.  JEF, working with a project team that includes the USGS, Federal, State and local agencies from both sides of the US-Mexico Border, High Sierra Electronics, Inc. and OneRain Incorporated, completed the system installation and integration work in August, 2012.  The new system includes an <a href="http://www.jefuller.com/lexicon/alert-2/" target="" class="encyclopedia">ALERT</a> base station and 4 remote <a href="http://www.jefuller.com/lexicon/alert-2/" target="" class="encyclopedia">ALERT</a> telemetry stations in and near Nogales, Sonora and one <a href="http://www.jefuller.com/lexicon/alert-2/" target="" class="encyclopedia">ALERT</a> station in Imuris, Sonora.</p>
