Hwee has extensive research (6 years) experience related to sustainable, resilient, and robustness water resources planning and management for multi-scale water resources systems (statewide scale, planning area scale, local planning area scale, and water distribution system/network). From the research, he has gained substantial experience in programming language including JAVA, C++, and MATLAB. He is proficient in hydraulic modeling tools including EPANET, WaterGEMs, HEC-RAS, and HEC-HMS. He is also highly skilled in the use of simulation software, GoldSim and Simulink. Hwee holds Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from the University of Arizona emphasis on Hydraulics and Water Resources Engineering. Hwee is a registered as an Engineer in Training in Arizona.
Outside of work, Hwee enjoys playing golf and tennis and skiing with his family.
