Project Description
Under its 2016–2020 On-Call Engineering Services contract with Coconino County, JE Fuller Hydrology & Geomorphology, Inc. served as the prime environmental and planning contractor for a NEPA compliance project in collaboration with the Coconino National Forest (CNF).
The project involved preparing environmental documentation to support the expansion of an existing mineral resource pit near Stoneman Lake Road on CNF-managed land. The proposed expansion added approximately five acres of material source area for County use in support of nearby communities.

Preparation of a Categorical Exclusion (CE) and Decision Memo for CNF review
JE Fuller ensured compliance with NEPA and related environmental regulations, delivered the project under budget and within four months, and received positive feedback from CNF for the quality and efficiency of its work.
