We’re excited to welcome Gunnar Stahmer to our Tempe office as an Engineer-In-Training (EIT) and Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM).
Gunnar brings valuable experience in hydrology, drainage design, and floodplain management from his time with the City of Mesa Engineering Department. There, he worked on municipal capital improvement projects, coordinated with flood control agencies, supported ALERT gauge installations, and reviewed drainage reports and floodplain-related plan sets for compliance with municipal standards. His background in applied hydrologic modeling and real-world flood control infrastructure will be a strong asset to our team and clients.
Fun fact: Gunnar grew up attending schools around the world (including a Singaporean public school and German international schools in both Singapore and France), giving him a truly global perspective.
