Paradise Valley Storm Water Master Plan

Project Description

JE Fuller collaborated with Kimley Horn and Associates, Inc. to develop a comprehensive hydrologic and hydraulic model for the Town’s stormwater master plan. To minimize costs, JE Fuller integrated existing models from the Flood Control District of Maricopa County, creating a unified model that depicts flooding throughout the Town for various recurrence intervals. This model serves as the foundation for identifying and refining mitigation alternatives. Incorporating detailed input data, the model includes all significant flow obstructions and control structures, such as culverts, bridges, and storm drains. JE Fuller’s expertise in constructing large-scale, detailed, and accurate hydrologic and hydraulic models facilitated the integration of data from five contributing Flood Control District models. Currently under final review by the Flood Control District, this model will be a valuable tool for evaluating existing flood hazards and assessing potential changes resulting from proposed infrastructure improvements.
