Rawhide Wash Flood Hazard Mitigation Project

Project Description

JE Fuller led the final design for the Rawhide Wash Flood Hazard Mitigation Project (RWFHMP), implementing the preferred alternative from the 2016 Pinnacle Peak West ADMS across a 97.4-square-mile watershed. The project focused on safely conveying alluvial fan flows via a levee system that preserved the natural wash corridor. Services included hydrologic/hydraulic modeling, levee and floodwall design, sediment analysis, construction documents, FEMA CLOMR preparation, floodplain remapping, environmental compliance, and CA&I. The team also supported public outreach.
