We are excited to announce that Olivia Lara has joined JE Fuller as an Engineer in Training, working out of our Tempe office.
Olivia recently graduated from Northern Arizona University with a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. During her studies, she developed a passion for water engineering and gained experience with modeling tools such as HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, and FlowMaster.
Her academic and professional journey includes undergraduate research on water quality testing for tribal communities in Yuma, AZ, leadership as a Supplemental Instruction Leader and Society of Women Engineers Treasurer & Peer Mentor Leader, and award-winning work in the AZ Water Student Design Competition. Olivia also contributed to designing upgrades for a wastewater treatment plant in Surprise, AZ, boosting its capacity from 12 to 15 MGD.
Olivia brings to JE Fuller not only strong technical skills but also proven leadership, teamwork, and communication abilities. We’re thrilled to have her on board and look forward to the expertise and enthusiasm she brings to our hydrology and geomorphology projects.
